TS is meant to be a fun game that you can play from anywhere. Whether that be on your
computer
(recommended)
or phone. Currently, it is being developed by only me (MetalRain682237). Even so, I plan on adding more
and
more to make the game more enjoyable.

The main idea of TS is to be a multiplayer map-based conquering game. You can go around
the
map capturing
locations and fighting other people. The graphics are minimal for two reasons: mainly cause I hate doing
UI,
but also cause the feel of the game is meant to be more retro style. Some balances are also put in place
to
make it fair for all players.
One of those balances is might brackets. Based on your might (aka your
total power), you are put at a "level" which you can only attack other players in that same bracket or
higher. If you attack a player in a higher bracket, they can retaliate however.
You'll see locations around the map that are controlled by Bandits. These are NPC's that do not attack. They only serve the purpose of being outposts and castles that you can attack. Their power will fluctuate as well.
The map is the main feature of the game. When the page loads, it'll take you to your HOME castle. If you're on a computer, you can click and drag around the map. You can also use the + and - keys to zoom in and out. Click on any location to see information about it. Armies will also be on the map, you can see enemy armies, but you must unlock the skill. If the location is yours, you can double click or click the "VISIT" button on it. Visiting takes you to a page where you can do things in that castle/outpost.
The map also has helpful buttons on the left side bar. You can filter the map by many criteria if you're looking for something specific. The "MAP" > "GO TO" button allows you to go to XY coordinates or a location's ID. Each location has a unique ID that is used to help identify locations and also tell armies where to go.
There are three main types of locations you can capture: castles, outposts and strongholds. You also get a HOME castle when you join, this can be attacked but not taken from you.
Castles are necessary to expand your empire. They allow you to train troops and create armies. They also allow you to gather the 4 main resource types, but at a slower rate than outposts. On top of that, each castle generates 5 gold per hour!
Outposts are the best way to gather resources. You can only collect one resource type at them, but at ~2x the rate of castles depending on the resource. You can still create armies here from the troops you have there.
Strongholds are moving locations that give you boosted resource gather rates. Every 4 days the strongholds randomly move and also change their type. Strongholds will be highlighted on the map with a white circle around them. Anyone can attack them (even much higher might players), so watch out for other players also wanting them.
Resources are essential to growing your empire. Keep a close eye on your food so that you don't go into the negatives. If you go into negative food there is no penalty, but you will not be able to train any more troops. Your resource rates are listed on the stats sidebar. Also note that armies consume 2x their normal amount of food.
There are 4 main resources:
Food - used for training
troops
and feeding them
Wood - generic building resource
Stone - generic building resource
Iron - least abundant building resource
As well
as
2 special resources:
Silver - used for trading
Gold - buys permanent upgrades for your empire
Skills are permanent upgrades to help your empire out. You can only buy them with gold. Some skills can only be bought after another skill is a certain level.
The market allows you to buy and sell main resources as well as troops! Need some extra
iron?
Buy it on the market with silver or trade it for some archers.
You must be within 3 might brackets
to trade with another player, this helps prevent higher level players from giving out tons of resources to
new players.
On the left sidebar, you will see a stats button. Here you can see what resource rates you are at and view your full stats. I am a HUGE fan of having stats in a game, even if they are pretty much pointless.
